Introduction :

This page provides an index for memorials of Irish deeds executed by members of the Huggins family of Glenarb townland in the parish of Aghaloo, county Tyrone, and their descendants elsewhere in said county, and the counties of Armagh, Dublin, and Wicklow. Huggins is one of our direct ancestral lines out of Ireland.

  • Memorial no. 57085 (v.82, p.81): Margaret Hamilton of Caledon to John Huggins (I) of Glenarb, lease in Kedew, dated 28th Oct. 1735, registered 14th Nov. 1735; also, John Huggins the younger (II).
  • Memorial no. 75752 (v.109, p.245): John Huggins (I) of Glenarb to Andrew & David Ferguson of Farriter, marriage settlement (David Ferguson & Margaret Huggins), dated 2nd Oct. 1736, registered 7th Feb. 1742.
  • Memorial no. 93968 (v.137, p.440): John Huggins (1) and the Rev. John Kennedy to John Huggins (II), in anticipation of the marriage of John Huggins (II) and Lettice Kennedy (dated 31st Aug. 1739, registered 7th Mar. 1749); with mention of Margaret Ferguson née Huggins.
