Please note that many more surnames occur in our lateral lines, i.e., as second, third, etc. cousins, removed once, twice, or even several times.
Surnames highlighted in grey font represent the Lamport/Lampard family and related branches. A few of these related lines have been researched to the mid-1600s. However, DNA testing has cast doubt on this having been our ancestral line, and further study is required. Similarly, owing to certain entanglements, the Causton line is in also in doubt.
