Introduction :
This page will provide an index for memorials of Irish deeds executed by members of the Stevenson family of Stewartstown† in the parish of Donaghendry (var. Donaghenry), county Tyrone, and their descendants. This branch is one of our direct ancestral lines out of Ireland. — † Note: To date, memorials have not been found in the Stewartstown branch for spelling variants of this surname, including Steenson, Stinson, &c.
The Stevenson family intermarried with the Stewart family (Castlestewart) of Stewart Hall in the parish of Ballyclog, Kennedy of Benburb, Templeton of Stewartstown, Speer of the parish of Ballyclog, and Anketell of Stewartstown, formerly of Dernamuck in the county of Monaghan.
