This page on Arborealis lists those memorials of Irish deeds which contain references to other deeds executed before 1700. Many of the memorials in this index pertain to the Barony of Dungannon in county Tyrone. However, some memorials have also been indexed or transcribed for other counties, such as Armagh and Monaghan.

- 1692-08-04: Memorial no. 31-342-19418 1 — John Houston of Castle Stewart, county Tyrone, set a lease to James Stevenson in two parcels of ground in Stewartstown, one being on the north side of the town and the other to the west side, with the backsides and gardens; and also parks and parcels of land lying near the town known as Church Park, the Nine Acre Park, the Park lying between the Nine Acre Park and Drumagullion townland; and the lower Sessaghagallvally adjoining the Nine Acre Park, the whole containing about sixty acres of land [all lying in the parish of Donaghenry, county Tyrone]; and one-half of the moss belonging to Stewartstown; to hold to James Stevenson, his heirs and aassigns, forever at the yearly rent of £12 with a £12 fine at the end of every thirty-one years forever. — This deed was mentioned as part of a later marriage settlement for James Stevenson’s son, William, dated 1716-10-19.
- 1692-10-28: Memorial no. 8-406-3018 2 — Mary Fortescue of Glenavy, county Antrim, widow, set a lease to Humphrey Clarke of the parish of Ballinderry, county Antrim, in the four townlands of Mulloghalaufkill [Mullaghlongfield?], Broghlesloy [Brossloy], Cloghernagh [Clogherny], and Drem [Drain], lying in the parish of Clonfeele [Clonfeacle], county Tyrone, for a term of 41 years. — This indenture of lease was mentioned as part of a later deed of assignment, dated 1711-08-17.
- 1695-07-05: Memorial no. 25-50-13456 3 — For the consideration of £170, George Warburton, John Warburton, and Stephen Ludlow, all of the city of Dublin, Esq., released to Francis Nevill, then of Dungannon, county Tyrone, Esq., the several townlands of Altmore, Glenebegge [Glenbeg], Aghnistragh [Aghnaskea], Lurgilia [Lurgylea], and Cappoch [Cappagh], lying in [the parish of Pomeroy,] county Tyrone. — This deed of release was mentioned as part of a later deed of release (mortgage), dated 1717-06-15.
- 1695-12-04: Memorial no. 10-398-3934 4 — For the consideration of £1500, Francis Whyte of Redhills, county Cavan, Esq., demised to Bryan Osborn otherwise Norbury of Thomastowne, county Louth, Esq., a number of towns and townlands in county Cavan and also the townlands comprising the Manor of Ballymagrane in county Tyrone, for a term of 1000 years, yielding an annual rent of 1 peppercorn if demanded, with a condition of redemption on repayment of £75 on 14th June next ensuing and of £1575 on 14th December 1696; and it was further agreed that before the end of the Hillary Term next ensuing, that Francis Whyte and Mary White, his wife, should acknowledge and levy unto John Usher of the city of Dublin, Esq. one or more fine or fines sur cognizance de droit come ceo &c. of all the recited lands and premises, which fine, &c. would enure for the use of Bryan Osborn. — This deed of release was mentioned as part of a later deed of assignment, dated 1713-05-22.
- 1698-08-04: Memorial no. 31-342-19418 5 — John Houston of Castle Stewart, county Tyrone, set a lease to James Stevenson in the two lower sessaghs of Gallvally† [Galvally] townland known as Gallvally and Ruskieroe [Rouskyroe], with that part of Tamillenene [Tamylennan] adjoining Gallvally and Ruskieroe on the southwest side, with Killmurchis [Killymurphy] and the Strife land to the northwest side then held by James Stevenson [all lying in the parish of Donaghenry, county Tyrone]; to hold to Mr. Stevenson for a term of thirty-one years with a fine of £11 to continue for the term of thirty-one years more at the yearly rent of £11. — This deed was mentioned as part of a later marriage settlement for James Stevenson’s son, William, dated 1716-10-19. †After the 1716 marriage settlement, Galvally townland was also known as Stevenon’s Dowery.
- 1699-07-15: Memorial no. 3-259-903 6 — Thomas Knox† set a lease to Duncan McDuggall in a “tenement and garden, lying on the West side on the Corner on the Markett place of Dungannon together with the Park and Two Meadows held by one Henry Beats, and also … the full Moiety of that Tenement joining on the West End of the above mentioned Tenement then in the Possession of the said Dunkan [sic] McDuggall;” to hold from 1st November 1699 for a term of lives—Duncan himself, his son John, and his daughter, Margaret; with a covenant of renewal. — This indenture of lease was mentioned as part of a later deed of assignment, dated 1709-10-18. †This was probably the Rt. Hon. Thomas Knox (d.1728), who purchased land in Dungannon in 1692, and held the office of Member of Parliament for Dungannon.7
As with the other sub-sections under the heading, Irish Deeds, work on this subject index is an ongoing part of a long-term project.
