[Body of memorial:]
  A Mem'l [Memorial] of an Instrum't in writing bearing date the Eighteenth day of Oct'r one thous'd Seven Hun'd & fifty nine Between Cha's Hamilton of Portglenone in the C'o of Antrim Gent of the one part & Tho's Ledlie of the Lower Back in the C'o of Tyrone Boat Carpenter of the other part [3]

… Whereby the s'd Cha's Hamilton for the Consid'ns [Considerations] hereafter Ment'd [Mentioned] did Demise grant & set to the s'd Tho's Ledlie All that dwelling House office Houses & Garden in the Town of Portglenone afores'd then in the tenure of Widow Hollinger Tog'r [Together] with one acre of Land therewith usually held & then in the Tenure of Widow Hollinger as also four Irish Plant'n acres of Land next adjoin'g Francis Lorimers Land in the Hill near Portglenone Comonly [sic] called the Town Hill w'ch [which] s'd premes [premises] are Situate in the Townland of Garoughy [Garvaghy] & C'o of Antrim afores'd

… To Hold the s'd House office Houses & acre of Land with the Appurs [Appurtenances] to the s'd Tho's Ledlie his Heirs Ex'rs [Executors] adm'rs [administrators] from the first day of Nov'r then last past for & During the life & Lives of Richard Babington Eldest son of the Rev'd Hump'y [Humphrey] Babington of Mount Stafford Clke  of Rich'd M'c Callester son of Edw'd Mc Callester of s'd Portglenone Merch't & Rob't Crawford son of Andrew Crawford of s'd Portglenone & the longest liver of them or of thirty one years w'ch sh'd [should] last longest Commencing from the first day of Nov'r then last past at the yearly rent of three p'ds Eight Shill's [Shillings] & three pence Ster [Sterling] & six pence apound Rec'rs [Receiver's] fees

… & also to Hold the s'd four acres of Land in the Town Hill afores'd to the s'd Tho's Ledlie his Ex'rs Adm'rs & Ass [Assigns] for & during the term of the life & Lives of the rev'd Hutchinson Hamilton of Edgeworthstown  John Hamilton only son to the said Cha's Hamilton or the term of thirty one years Commencing from the first day of Nov'r then last past at the yearly rent of two p'ds Ster & sixpence apound rec'rs fees

… The above Named Tho's M'c Lorinan maketh oath that he was present & saw the above Named Cha's Hamilton & Tho's Ledlie duly Seal & Execute the Instrum't in writing whereof the above is a Mem'l & dep't [deponent] also saw the s'd Tho's Ledlie duly Sign & Seal the above Mem'l & y's [this] dep't is a Subscribing Witn's to the s'd Instrum't of writing & to this Mem'l & that the Name Subscribed thereto is dep'ts name & proper hand writing
