Speer of east Tyrone, & Hamilton of Newry - Family tree chart

This ancestor chart outlines the descendants of Thomas Speere (d.1636) of Desertoghill, whose son John Spear (1623–1705), settled in the parish of Ballyclog, barony of Dungannon and county of Tyrone.

  • Version 5 of the family tree chart is pending. (2018-12-09)
  • At 2.1Mb, the file size is necessarily large, and should be viewed on a large monitor. Please refer to the “Terms and Conditions” in the upper right-hand corner, and to the list of sources underneath the family tree.
  • The Key (shown within a rectangle on the left-hand side of the chart, underneath the “Comments and Questions” section) provides important notes regarding the compilation of this chart. In particular, items shown in green font seem probable in the circumstances, while red-coloured items are plausible but not corroborated. To be clear, the data are true to the records. However, the assignment of persons shown in green or red font to a particular line is not certain.
  • This family tree chart is a work-in-progress and will be revised when new information becomes available.

Family tree chart removed, pending revision. (2018-12-09).
