Stevenson of Stewartstown

This section of Arborealis presents a series of biographical sketches and timelines for the descendants of Captain James Stevenson (d.1747) of Stewartstown, county Tyrone, and Miss Allet, his wife.

These biographical sketches are works-in-progress, and will include other Stevenson lines of interest—that is, the Stephensons of Killyfaddy, in the parish of Lisnadill, county Armagh; and the Stevensons of Mineveigh, parish of Tullyniskan (later of Roughan, parish of Donaghenry) in the county of Tyrone. Please note that a common ancestor has not yet been found for these branches. Therefore, the precise relationship of individuals, marked with ‡, to the Stevensons of Stewartstown has yet to be determined.
